About Us
The Convenience Industry Council of Canada (CICC) is the national voice of Canada’s convenience industry. We advocate for our members, build partnerships, and support the businesses that serve communities from coast to coast.

Our Story
The Convenience Industry Council of Canada (CICC) was founded with one clear purpose: to unite and support the businesses that put the needs of customers first. Over the years, we’ve built a national, not-for-profit council rooted in four essential pillars: advocacy, research & education, responsible retailing, and events & recognition. Together, we work to champion our members and serve Canada’s convenience customers.
One Voice
We will advocate for the diverse and dynamic convenience channel by:
- Representing their interests at the federal, provincial and municipal levels of government on issues affecting their business
- Providing access to industry data, research and best practices to help them with critical business decisions
- Hosting networking events and business development opportunities with leaders in Canada’s convenience retail channel
- Managing and protecting the industry’s reputation and providing a place of community for our customers
