Convenience Innovation Awards
The Convenience Innovation Awards (CIA) has long been a platform for recognizing top product development in the convenience industry.
For 2024, in anticipation of the expansion of beverage alcohol sales into Ontario convenience stores and recognizing the growing market of non-alcoholic beverages, we’re excited to add the categories of beer, wine and cooler, and non-alcoholic beverages to the Convenience Innovation Awards.
We are now accepting entries from member Vendor Partners for products launched between July 1, 2023 and May 31, 2024 in the categories of:
- Confectionery
- Chocolate
- Sweet Snacks
- Savoury Snacks
- General Merchandise
- Regular beverages
- Energy/Caffeinated beverages
- Beer
- Wine and coolers
- Non-alcoholic beverages (ex: mocktails)
Our judging panel (members of the CICC Board of Directors and senior executives from our retail and distributor members), will sample and vote on the submissions. Winners will be announced at the Awards Gala as part of the 2024 National Convenience Industry Summit in Toronto (September 25 to 27, 2024).
